The brief
The Pastel Society wanted to have their art exhibition catalogues scanned and digitised to make them available to the public and preserve them for future generations. We have been delighted to deliver this for them.
The challenge
The main challenge in this case was the age and condition of the catalogues, some of which dated back as far as 1898 and were in quite a damaged condition.
The solution
After careful handling to avoid further damage and to achieve the clearest images possible, our specialist team of technicians scanned and digitised all the society’s catalogues, creating a lasting archive which can now be shared with the general public. We have since gone on to work with the society on other scanning projects covering a wide variety of different document formats.
