About us

Preservation pioneers

It was in 1999 that Michael Harrison first saw facsimiles of the Gutenberg Bible at the London Book Fair and was inspired by digitisation’s power to preserve rare texts. Since then, Scripti has become a leader in document digitisation in the cemetery and crematorium sector. When the business was launched in 2003 by Michael and his daughter Philippa, they concentrated on building relationships with specialist partners and developing new methods to ensure the company continues to meet clients’ needs in today’s evolving digital landscape.
